Broad Ecton Farm - Swaledale Cottage

Swaledale Cottage is a converted barn on Broad Ecton Farm, equipped for self-catering holidays with two bedrooms and two bathrooms accommodating up to six guests. The ground floor contains an open-plan kitchen, dining and living area; the kitchen has an electric oven, induction hob, dishwasher, microwave and all the basics needed to prepare meals. Underfloor heating warms both floors. A wet room with shower sits by the rear door, convenient after using the hot tub. Upstairs, the bedrooms have zip-and-link beds that can be configured as singles, with a travel cot and highchair available if needed. The main bathroom has a bath with shower over.

What makes this place stand out is the private six-person hot tub in the enclosed rear garden, where garden furniture and a barbecue are set out. There is parking for three cars on site, a bike store, and a utility room (shared with one other property) containing a washing machine and tumble dryer. One well-behaved pet stays free. Wifi, electricity, bed linen and towels are included in the rate.

The location is quiet and rural, close to Ashbourne in the Staffordshire Moorlands, with walking routes accessible from the door. The property does not permit smoking.
