White Park Cottage sits on Broad Ecton Farm, positioned where the Staffordshire Moorlands meet the Peak District's footpaths. The surrounding countryside offers immediate access to walking routes; Manifold Valley lies just over the hill, and you can explore different terrain each day without leaving on foot. Hartington village is a few miles away, home to its well-known cheese shop, while the Tissington Trail and High Peak Trail are nearby for cycling. Ashbourne, Buxton and Bakewell are all within reach, as is Chatsworth and Alton Towers theme park.

The cottage is the larger of two converted barns on the farm. Ground floor space is open plan, combining kitchen, dining and living areas with comfortable seating, a Smart TV and underfloor heating throughout. The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking proper meals. One double bedroom with an ensuite shower room is also on this level. Upstairs are two further double bedrooms—one is a zip-and-link that can be configured as two singles—and a family bathroom with shower over the bath. A private hot tub for six sits in the enclosed rear garden, which has furniture and a gas barbecue. You have parking for three cars on site, a bike store, and access to a shared laundry room with washing machine and tumble dryer. Wi-Fi, bed linen, towels and heating are all included. One dog is welcome and stays free. The property sleeps six and is yours alone; note that it is a no-smoking space.
