Broadmeadows Farm sits on the edge of Manifold Valley, where limestone crags and caves draw walkers year-round. The property occupies a working farm spanning over one hundred acres, with footpaths leading straight from the door across open moorland and farmland. The Manifold Way, a seven-mile traffic-free cycle trail following an old railway line, runs through the valley nearby; cycle hire is available locally. Butterton village is a mile away.

The farmhouse has five bedrooms sleeping 12 across two bathrooms, plus a utility room with a washing machine and tumble dryer. The ground floor holds a living room with an open fire, separate dining room, and a kitchen with a full range of appliances for cooking from scratch. There is also a games room with a pool table and table tennis. A wood-fired hot tub sits in the garden, which has furniture and a barbecue; logs are provided. Parking for six cars is on site. Wifi and bed linen are included; heating is oil-fired central.

The location works well for exploring both counties: Ashbourne, Buxton, Bakewell, Dovedale, Carsington Water and Alton Towers are all within a 25-minute drive. The farmhouse does not accept hen or stag parties; couples and family bookings only. No smoking is permitted.
