Pockerley Riding School

I have been riding at Pockerley for about 7 years and am very happy with all they offer. Regular class lessons, individual teaching through private lessons, dressage, show jumping, cross country, horse care, pony club for younger riders, hacks, fun days, ladies days - all absolutely brilliant! Tracey is a fabulous teacher - amazing knowledge and insight - and cares about her riders, always catering to their levels of confidence and experience. The horses are well schooled and very well looked after by a great team. I would highly recommend Pockerley to anyone, whatever stage they are at in their riding journey.

If I could give more stars I would! Lessons are planned and well thoughtout but most of all they are fun. My confidence has really grown since riding here and the horses are very well looked after. Lisa and Tracy are fantastic instructors and all the staff are really friendly. Its obvious as soon as you walk on the yard how much the horses are cared for. Would highly recommend Pockerley to anyone of any age or ability!

Amazing riding school! Fantastic staff and lush horses and ponies. Lisa is so good with the kids, my daughter has come on so much...its her favourite time of the week. We love being part of the Pockerley family ❤️

So I started my horse riding journey when I was a child (long time ago!) At the tender age of 60 for my birthday decided to give it another try and discovered Pockerley Riding School, which turned out to be the best decision ever. The school is immaculately kept (I’ve seen some shabby ones on my search), the horses are extremely well cared for and the staff are friendly, helpful and very professional. Big shout out to Tracy who owns the place and runs a tight ship and also the wonderful Lisa who takes all the newbies/oldies returning after a gap and the children under her wing to train, help and provide confidence boosting advice along the way. I’ve found my calling and made some great friends, really look forward to my weekly rides. Give it a go, you won’t be disappointed, it’s the best! ❤️
