Archarn Estate Lodges - Larch
Stirling

Larch is a detached lodge where everything sits on one level: step inside to an open-plan living space with a 32-inch TV and DVD player, a dining area, and a kitchen fitted with electric cooking, dishwasher and washing machine. Two bedrooms—one with a kingsize bed, one with two singles—connect to a wet room. Seven steps lead to the entrance; the grounds include sloping banks and natural water from a bore hole, details worth noting if accessibility matters. Heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are all covered, and two cars can park on site.
The lodge sits within a 30-acre estate in Stirling, surrounded by woodland shared with other properties. Shared facilities include a tennis court, children's play area, and three trout ponds for fly fishing on a catch-and-release basis. One dog stays free and should be kept on a lead. A pub lies within a mile. The grounds suit families after a break involving outdoor activity—walking trails cross the estate, picnic benches dot the land, and the space is known for spotting red squirrels, deer and birds. Winter brings gentle slopes for sledging. No smoking inside.
