Gracedieu
Stirling
This terraced cottage dates from the 1700s and stands among only eight properties overlooking the Falls of Dochart. The building retains original character throughout, with a wood burner in the living room and a garden room converted from a former bothy. Double glass doors open onto the rear garden on warmer days, and the site itself carries local history—the garden's old railway sleepers are still visible underfoot.
Inside are two bedrooms (one kingsize, one with twin singles) and a shower room on the first floor. The ground floor spreads across a living room with TV and DVD player, a separate dining room with record player and DAB radio, and a kitchen equipped for full cooking. An enclosed, lawned garden with seating and a barbecue sits to the rear, backed by open countryside. Parking for one car is on site, and Wi-Fi, heating, bed linen and towels are included. One well-behaved pet stays free. The property does not permit smoking.
Killin village lies within walking distance, offering shops, cafes and restaurants alongside access to the Rob Roy Way and mountain biking trails. Loch Tay is roughly a mile away, and the area suits walkers, cyclists and those interested in local history—the Killin Stone Circle and Finlarry Castle are nearby. Fishing and water sports are available at cost.
