The ground floor combines living and dining space with a kitchen where you can prepare proper meals or use the slow cooker for something hands-off. A shower room with heated towel rail is also downstairs. Upstairs, the bedroom has a zip-and-link bed that can be configured as two singles if needed. Heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are included; you bring nothing except your belongings. One dog stays free of charge. The cottage has private parking and a BBQ outside.

Aberfoyle itself is within walking distance, with shops, a supermarket, cafés and restaurants. The local golf club offers one of Scotland's most scenic courses; championship courses like Gleneagles are within an hour's drive. Loch Katrine runs cruises on the historic SS Sir Walter Scott, and Stirling's historic and cultural attractions lie under an hour away. No smoking inside the property.
