Mixed feelings of our stay. Location great by the river. Available walks great. Relaxed and peaceful site. Friendly helpful staff. Facilities clean and modern. But it is all very disjointed. Toilets are one way and showers the other, they are not together in one building and are at the far end of the site. The showers had no hot water but ran cold. Access to these was by steep stone steps or slope, not easy for the less agile. Apparently there is a faulty pilot light that keeps going out. The owner was very apologetic and returned later in the day to say there was hot water again.

Fantastic campsite, well stocked shop, lovely little coffee trailer in the morning, and the options of a burger van or pizza van at the weekend too. Lovely staff, clean toilets and showers, with the ones up the hill being a little newer. We initially parked up in the wooded area, but moved down to the meadow area after my little boy made friends. Can’t recommend this place enough, it’s located just a short cycle down from Aberfoyle and on the edge of the woods. So we spent most of the time cycling the tracks or relaxing by the river. I’ll definitely be back with my boy again. He made friends with the tons of kids there and spent the night cycling and playing. Never once felt unsafe!

Amazing place! Tried the glamping and it was very clean and the beds had electrical warming blankets, which were greatly appreciated! The wc and showers were clean, and there are a coffee shop and pizza van onsite. Would repeat in a heartbeat.

My very first time camping 🏕 and I wasn't disappointed. My husband and son has visited/stayed here a few times and really enjoy it. There is a wee coffee van which stays on site i had a caramel latte and husband had a cappuccino we shared a biscoff cookie and closes at 4.30/5pm and reopens at 8.30pm the next morning for fresh breakfast rolls i got a roll with fried egg(you get 2)and tatties scone my husband got a steak slice and black pudding again with a lovely coffee. There was a pizza van that visits the site on a Saturday night which you can pre order from we had a cheeky chicken pizza with garlic bread which didn't disappoint. Lots of woodland walks near campsite and a swing park on site too. Toilets and showers were very clean You can cycle or walk into Aberfoyle we walked and it took about 35mins
