Pine Cottage

Pine Cottage suits couples, small families, or friends who want a genuine retreat. The entire property is yours alone—a detached, single-level cottage surrounded by open grounds and forest, with space to breathe and quiet to match. One dog stays free. You have two bedrooms (one double, one twin), a shower room, and a living area centred on a woodburner that opens to views of the woodland. The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking; Wi-Fi, heating, electricity, bed linen and towels are all covered. Outside, a large garden has a chiminea, seating and a BBQ.

This is walking and cycling country. The Trossachs National Park surrounds you—expect to spot deer and squirrels—and the village of Killin is five minutes' drive away. Callander, larger and busier, takes half an hour. Ben More and Crainlarich, with their hiking routes and views across the Highlands, are twenty minutes by car. If you want peace without complete isolation, or a base for exploring some of Scotland's best landscapes, this works well. Note that the grounds have steps. No smoking indoors. Parking for two cars on site.
