About Premier Inn Manchester Airport Heald Green
For anyone catching an early flight or arriving late into Manchester Airport, Premier Inn Manchester Airport Heald Green is built around exactly that kind of trip. It sits on Finney Lane in Stockport, with free on-site parking and easy access to the terminals, plus Heald Green train station within reach for onward travel by public transport.
The hotel has 87 en-suite rooms, sound-proofed against the airport approach, with accessible rooms available and drinks on offer in-room. Beds are comfortable and the twin-floor layout keeps things simple to navigate with a bag in tow. A restaurant on site serves breakfast cooked to order, including hot options, and staff are consistently helpful, which counts for a lot at antisocial hours. That said, some rooms show their wear, so this suits travellers after a practical, well-located stopover rather than a polished finish.
Beyond the airport run, there's a pub or bar, further restaurants and eateries, and entertainment nearby, along with a golf course and horse riding for those with more time to spare in the area. It works best as a reliable base for flights rather than a destination in its own right.
What guests say
Stayed for 1 night, had dinner and breakfast. My room was dated. The supplied fan was dirty, the bottom of the bathroom door was broken. The car park had lots of litter. The food was ok. The restaurant next door was also dated I my opinion. Overall it I don't believe it was a good investment to go here before flying from Manchester Airport. Next time I will pay a little more and stay at a better hotel.

Stayed here last night before a flight. Having read the reviews I was a little worried about our stay however I shouldn’t have been. we was checked in on reception by a nice man. Our room was really nice one of the newish ones so it had Aircon pillows and mattress were amazing like with all premier inns. Overall I would come here again. It could use with having a lift though

We stayed here for 2 nights as our flight back home to Abu Dhabi was cancelled and what a mistake that was. The fan that was left on in the room as we entered was full of dust. We asked for it to be cleaned and it was half done. I have a dust allergy and the room made me very poorly. My son and daughter were both very sick after the first night, and now my husband and I are. I’m sure it was this hotel. The rooms smell awful. They need a good clean. The restaurant is so dreary and lifeless. Please avoid.

Award winning mattresses but not so keen on the pillows. Good value, good night's sleep but not fond of the pillows... Award winning mattresses but not so keen on the pillows. It was one night before further travel so no problems with the experience and happily stay again. Or check in and check out we really quick and easy. Very friendly also.... We've stayed before and this time opted not to eat in the restaurant attached to the hotel. Our last visit the restaurant had changed hands to become the Premier Inn owned and the staff were diabolical, as was the service and food. On our arrival this year the restaurant was empty so it would appear our experience and thoughts about the eatery are not just our own!!!
