Was skeptical with the poor reviews but pleasantly surprised! Alex went above and beyond at check in and even offered to help with our luggage. The room (215) was exceptionally clean. The common areas were also very clean. The young man at the bar was very friendly and helpful. We will definitely stay again.

The hotel is simple but comfortable, especially for a short stay. I arrived late at night after landing at Manchester Airport, around 11 PM, and the receptionist was very friendly and welcoming. Even though the hotel does not have a lift, he kindly offered to help carry my luggage to the first floor. I had paid for breakfast in advance, but the staff at the café did not have that information at first, which caused a bit of confusion. However, the issue was resolved quickly. Overall, I would recommend this hotel for anyone needing a convenient short stay.

We entered the room expecting to have a pleasant stay, but were immediately disappointed by its condition. Within the first few steps, it was obvious that the carpet was extremely dirty, with dust all over the room. The area near the TV was muddy, and one of the drawers contained remnants of pan masala. As we looked around, we noticed that the mirror was cracked, and there were large holes in the walls, giving the impression that the room had been vandalised. The curtains were hanging off the railings, appeared very dirty, and released large amounts of dust whenever they were moved. It was clear that the room had not been properly maintained for some time. Despite these issues, we decided to overlook them and make ourselves a cup of tea. However, the kettle was dirty and had to be washed before use. After boiling water, we realised there was only one teabag provided, with no spoon or stirrer available. When we approached reception to request these basic items, the receptionist responded in an unprofessional manner, saying, “It’s not my responsibility. I’m just an employee. Why should I say sorry?” Throughout our stay, I had to visit reception three separate times to request essential items and assistance. The overall condition of the room, combined with the poor customer service, made for a very disappointing experience.

Dear Hotel Management, I arrived at the hotel very late and was extremely tired after my journey. Only the next morning did I realize how unacceptable the condition of the room was. There was a used towel left in the bathroom, hair on the bed, and the coffee station had not been restocked or properly cleaned. Some of the coffee stirrers even appeared to have already been used. In addition, there was not even a trash bin in the room. There was also no iron or hairdryer, although I was told by reception that these should have been available in the room. To make matters worse, the power outlets in the room were not working. I could not charge my phone, use an iron, or use a hairdryer. I reported these issues to reception, but was simply told that there were no other rooms available and that I could not be moved. Unfortunately, I did not feel that my concerns were taken seriously. The room and facilities were far below the standard advertised. Nothing about my experience matched the description or the photos shown when I booked the hotel. Because of the poor condition of the room, the missing facilities, and the lack of a satisfactory solution, I would like to request a full refund. I look forward to your response.
