What guests say
We stayed here during a recent heatwave. The temperature in the room was 28-29.5 degrees celcius. There was no airconditioning. The single window had restricted opening and so even when the outside temperature dropped to 17 degrees, the temperature in the room remained 28 degrees. A fan was provided which was noisy and was not the right tool to bring the temperature down in the absence of a window to allow colder air to re-circulate into the room. There was extreme noise from planes taking off and landing at the nearby airport. Overall, it was impossible to sleep and the high temperature in the room unsafe for babies and vulnerable individuals. If management cared even a little for the health and safety of staff and customers they could have brought in an engineer to release the window restrictions as a temporary measure to allow the rooms to cool down. But clearly noone gave a care in the world. We left despite having paid for a longer stay. This is a 3 star hotel in 2026 Britain. I’m sure we could have slept more comfortably and safely in an establishment of a developing country.

This was a very good premiering in in terms of the premier in expectations. Room was clean when we arrived and it was quiet all night. The bedroom was well prepared and the breakfast was really good and sometimes it can be a bit dodgy. Service was friendly with a smile and I would definitely stay here again as there was good access to anywhere you wanted to get to around the south of Manchester and I was going to the O2 Apollo.

Hotel was nice - staff were lovely and room was clean. Unfortunately I stayed in the middle of a heatwave and no air con. Room was showing 28 degrees on the thermostat and although they had provided fans, these made no difference through the night. The windows only opened a few inches which didn’t help as fresh air couldn’t get in so the room was stifling. Asked about upgrading to a premier room with air conditioning which they advertise on their website (although to be fair not bookable when i looked) but was told these are still being built and not available until March ‘28. Sadly as I ended up feeling quite unwell I checked out a day early as really didn’t want another night of little sleep and feeling ill again for a second day. PI really need to think about guest H&S in such conditions as this was not a good experience. Granted, the cost of the hotel is very reasonable but if this is at the expense of guest welfare, someone needs to rethink co strategy.

Checked in on 5th of April, Although close to airport and can hear planes, it didn't keep us awake as the bed were super comfy. Staff were very friendly and professional. Breakfast was perfect and great value for money. Will definitely return. Location close to lots of places we wanted to go.
