Faversham's surrounding countryside holds this Grade II listed cottage, which dates back to the 17th century and takes its name from the box hedging around it. The two-storey property has been renovated while keeping its character intact—original pine floorboards downstairs, an inglenook fireplace in the dining room with a working wood burner, and leaded windows upstairs overlook the front garden.
The ground floor comprises a living room with TV and DVD player, a dining room with the fireplace, and a kitchen equipped for proper cooking with a gas hob, electric oven, microwave and washer-dryer. Upstairs are two bedrooms: one with a double bed, one with two single beds. The single bathroom has a bath with shower attachment. Essentials including electricity, Wi-Fi, bed linen and towels are provided, and logs for the wood burner are included. An enclosed garden to the rear has garden furniture and a barbecue.
The cottage accepts one pet and is yours alone for the duration of your stay. A small pond in the garden means children need supervision, and the narrow staircase isn't suitable for very young children. On-road parking is available, and a pub is within a mile. Eastling Primary School is nearby if that matters to your plans.
