Damson Tree Cottage

Damson Tree Cottage is a converted barn set within eight acres of grounds in the Swale countryside. The building combines period character with contemporary comfort: an open-plan ground floor brings the kitchen, dining and living spaces together, while three bedrooms and three bathrooms spread across two levels give everyone their own space. The master suite is on the ground floor with an ensuite walk-in shower; upstairs, two further bedrooms share an ensuite bathroom with both bath and shower.

The kitchen is equipped for proper cooking, with a gas hob and electric oven alongside the usual appliances. Wifi, electricity, bed linen and towels are included. Beyond the veranda with garden furniture and a barbecue, the grounds hold woodland, a picnic table tucked away among the trees, and access to a heated indoor pool. There is private parking for two cars.

This suits families or groups of friends after a rural retreat within reach of local walks and villages. The surrounding area includes working vineyards and pubs within a short drive. One adult dog is welcome during the summer months. Smoking is not permitted inside.
