We had my Grandma's wake here a few weeks ago. (And my Grandads 2 years ago). Been coming here since we were young and it's always been a lovely pub. With fantastic staff. I always worry eating places due to nut allergy but was reassured by staff there are no nuts on the premises as the owners are also allergic. Which put me at peace. Lovely food, fantastic place to dine and have events. Also came the week after my Grans wake for the Monday deal and that was fab. And again reassured about the nuts.

Went for Ibiza day party. The DJs playing...Tony Bellamy, 2 minutes Turkish and Justin Essence kept the garden jumping all day and night. What a beautiful location. All the staff were very lovely and the food was delicious and very reasonably priced. Hour and half to get there, but it was totally worth it. Looking forward to going again. Many thanks x

Just had our wedding reception at the pub. I can honestly say it is the nicest run pub I've ever seen. Everyone is so welcoming, food is excellent and they made our special day the best. The rooms are tidy and reasonably priced. Best pub in Wiltshire - give it a go!

Stayed o/n August last year as part of Britstop and again this year Mar 21/22/23 In my van. A young set of bar staff. All incredibly courteous. Every night. Every one. Food is excellent. And the guy covering for the landlord while I was there did a brilliant job (again courteous, professional and efficient). Food like anywhere else is generally ‘pricey’ (for me) but quality. Check the menu to make your own judgement. And whatever you do don’t miss pizza/pasta Tuesday - incredibly cheap price! Not sure when I’ll be passing through again but this is my go to instead of soulless Swindon.
