Ok so Andrea gets 12 stars. This place is beautiful, from the lounge with a wood burner he had lit for breakfast, the lovely room with a seriously comfy bed, to the incredible food he cooked for us. This is a person who has perfected what he does. He offers dinner, you have to pick from his menu in advance and you have to all have the same thing, don't be churlish about it, do as he says, book the meal, trust him. He is an exceptional cook, our meal was one of the most memorable parts of our entire two week road trip, and we saw dolphins for goodness sake. I'm not a big dessert person, but his "Chronachan" dessert was must-have. You know when you take a mouthful of something you just pause, and go a little glassy-eyed, find yourself with a really stupid grin... Just me? Well that happened more than once. We only stayed one night because we had a ferry to catch but we absolutely would have stayed longer. Also, Andrea, if you read this, as a result of your sample and recommendation, we ended up taking an impromptu trip to Campbelltown to check out Springbank Distillery, took a tour (best tour ever by the way), and discovered my new favourite distillers, so I can't thank you enough for that. Breakfast was amazing too, my one regret is that I didn't have the eggs diavola. In all the travelling I've done, I've never stayed anywhere that got everything so right.

They really know how to host - absolutely beautiful in every way. Every detail thought about. Perfectly clean, so friendly and the food was absolutely delicious!

A Peaceful, Beautiful Place with Andrea’s Five-Star Touch Andrea truly has a magical touch that makes your stay both special and incredibly comfortable. The farm animals are absolutely adorable, and watching the long sunset from the lounge while enjoying a gourmet dish is simply unforgettable. Stayed at Ronachan Farmhouse one night en route to Kennacraig to catch a ferry to Islay. Andrea was the perfect host and a chef extraordinaire! Both our dinner and breakfast were world class. I really can’t stress enough how important it is to eat here!! Absolutely delectable. Rooms are spacious, beautifully styled and very comfortable. Walks on the farm an absolute must. Outstanding value.
