Dunmore Villa is a spacious six-bedroom property on the lochside near Tarbert, sleeping up to 12 across bedrooms furnished with kingsize and single beds. The whole villa is yours alone. Four bathrooms serve the bedrooms—three with ensuite facilities—so groups needn't queue. Electricity, bed linen and towels come included; the central heating is electric. One dog is welcome provided it stays on leads.
The ground floor centres on a living room with Freeview television and a woodburner, opening onto a dining room with glass doors and terrace. The kitchen is properly fitted for group cooking: it has an electric range, microwave, dishwasher, American-style fridge freezer, washing machine and tumble dryer, plus a breakfast bar for informal meals. A separate games room completes this level. Upstairs, a shower room and bathroom with bath and shower serve the remaining bedrooms. The grounds include parking for four cars and a patio with furniture, though these are shared with other properties on the estate.
The coast lies within a mile, and the loch is just beyond the garden. Tarbert is the nearest town. The property suits extended families or friendship groups needing genuine space and self-catering independence, with everything in place to manage a full week's cooking and laundry without scrambling for facilities.

WONDERFUL PLACE! Where do I start? I've been going to The Villa for more than 30 years, and it just gets better. In recent years a new bespoke villa replaced the previous. Situated on the shore of West Loch Tarbet, it has so much glass looking over stunning vistas. It is very private, safe and sumptious and can serve as an upmarket retreat from our overly-busy lives, a base to visit stunningly beautiful areas nearby - the island of Gigha is a great example, or a place for walks and wildlife spotting. On my last trip in 2021 I watched a young otter playing right outside on the Villa's jetty. I've previously spotted seals, porpoises, deer, raptors, reptiles, and amphibians. I've fly-fished for sea trout right outside. I've also fished for mackerel from the lovely wee harbour in Tarbert some 7 miles away. Tarbert village is very easy on the eye and well served with restuarants, shops, galleries, pubs, and cafés. I love this place and genuinely feel refreshed and more relaxed after my trips here. The owners also rent Anchor Cottage, a gorgeous wee house also situated on the loch and with the same beautiful views. This area is one of Scotland's best kept secrets and I can't think of a better place to experience it from than the Villa at Dunmore. I couldn't recommend it more highly.

Stayed in Anchor Cottage beside Dunmore Villa. Well equipped and very comfortable.
