About Flora and Fauna
On the Devon-Somerset border within reach of Exmoor's legendary dark skies, Flora and Fauna offers a handful of spacious, fully accessible safari lodges sleeping up to six. Each features two king/twin bedrooms plus a secret cabin bed for children, plus woodburner, 50-inch smart TV, wet room and fitted kitchen. Outside, a private hot tub awaits for sunset soaks, while pygmy goats, pigs, cows and sheep roam the farm, delighting younger guests who can explore freely and safely.
Dogs are welcome year-round—there's ample space for walkies, though keep them under control near livestock. The on-site shop stocks local produce, some from the farm itself, and a country inn sits within walking distance. For bigger shops or dining, Bampton is 20 minutes by car, Tiverton 25.
With a perfect Google rating and Exmoor National Park—Europe's first International Dark Sky Reserve—close by, it's an idyllic rural escape, though at just a handful of pitches, availability can be tight.

What visitors say
Absolutely loved our stay at Flora and Fauna in Exmoor. From start to finish, everything was thoughtfully put together to create a peaceful and comfortable glamping experience. The tent was immaculate—spotlessly clean, beautifully furnished, and incredibly cosy, with every little detail considered. The facilities were also top-notch: clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, making it easy to relax and feel at home in the middle of nature. The setting itself is stunning, with just the right amount of seclusion and connection to the surrounding landscape. A special mention goes to the owner, Dan who struck the perfect balance—knowledgeable and helpful when needed, yet never intrusive. You can tell they really care about the place and the guest experience. If you’re looking for a serene getaway that combines the charm of the outdoors with creature comforts, this is it. Highly recommended.

We had the most wonderful stay at Flora safari tent - truly one of the finest glamping experiences we’ve ever had. The tents are beautifully designed and furnished to the highest standard, with every detail thoughtfully considered by the owners. Nestled side by side, the two tents share a private outdoor space, creating the perfect setting for two families with children. It strikes a lovely balance: plenty of space to come together, yet enough privacy for quieter moments. The hosts were exceptional as well—warm, attentive, and highly responsive both before and during our stay.

Absolutely cracking place! Total gem on the edge of Exmoor National Park. Such a great base to go exploring. Incredible "tents", extremely well appointed! The kids had a fantastic time. Roasting marshmallows on the firepit outside, the hot-tub was perfect. Check-in, check-out was super easy. Dan was such a great host, took the time to introduce us to some of his farm animals. For anyone who hasn't been glamping before, pack something warm for night, once the sun goes down it does get chilly, although the tents have a wood furnace, heated blankets and portable heaters, enough to feel comfortable. Would 100% recommend to anyone. A great base to chill and relax and a short trip to go exploring Exmoor National Park!

We hired both safari tents for a family birthday celebration and had a fantastic time. The tents are luxurious with well equipped kitchens and very comfortable beds and linen. The dining barn was also a great spot for big dinners and playing games. The hosts were on hand with anything and everything we needed - they even took the time to bring out their family pets which the children loved (as did the adults). Pablo a big pig and three little goats. Would highly recommend this as a great place for family or groups of friends.
