A really lovely alternative place for waiting for the train! Located less than 20 metres from the station ticket hall - just across the road! The ambience was 10/10 and very stylish with comfy seating and great music. Also the service was exceptional - the last behind the bar today (Tues 16th June) was ever so welcoming, chatty and a great vibe! The menu is great & there’s a huge range of food and especially drink. The cocktail menu is really premium!

Great railway station themed boutique hotel, very spacious rooms with decent amenities and good sized bathroom. Nice breakfast and friendly staff. Good sized car park outside, just remember to put your car reg in at the reception desk when staying.

Disappointing when it could easily be better. Started out very professionally by being able to leave our bags there prior to checking in. The bed was comfortable, and the room and bathroom clean. On the downside the sash windows rattled through the night, the room lacked a wardrobe and we had to put the curtains behind the radiator to get some warmth to the room. The main complaint has to be the breakfast. Overcooked and cold. On pointing this out the replacement breakfast came overcooked and warm. No apology, no conversation. Absolutely abysmal. Scrambled eggs like rubber, bacon like leather, and mushrooms that looked a week old. If you can't make a fresh breakfast then don't bother. At least the toast was good.

Stayed over night with my husband we found our room to be very spacious, clean and welcoming. The staff were all very helpful and friendly and we would also like to share a thanks for the night porter, Tony. We throughly enjoyed our stay (and the hot chocolate) and will return again.
