What an impressive building. It’s on the way to Oban, just next to Loch Awe. It has a beautiful architecture and great history. Love the interior with the stone walls and wooden ceiling. It is open for the public and you can visit it for free, however donations are welcome. There is a small car park next to the main road, but it can only accommodate a few cars at a time.

I was driving hy when I noticed this beautiful building, then spotted a layby just past it, so parked up and went to have a look. I was not disappointed, I found that a 'kirk' is a church. It was well worth the stop, there's a little coffee room attached, a quirky visit with some for all; wonderful architecture, awesome views of Loch Awe, aforementioned cafe, fascinating history, beautiful gardens.
