London Beach sits in 120 acres of parkland on the edge of Tenterden, built around its own eighteen-hole golf course and a spa wing that has become as much of a draw as the golf itself. Bedrooms are spread across the main hotel and a newer wing, many with private balconies looking out over the fairways and the Weald beyond.
The spa is the standout feature, with an infinity swimming pool, a large hydrotherapy pool, saunas, steam rooms and a full treatment menu, making the hotel a popular choice for spa breaks as well as golfing trips. A restaurant serves modern British food using Kentish produce where possible, and function rooms host a steady programme of weddings and events throughout the year.
Tenterden's high street, the Kent & East Sussex Railway and Chapel Down vineyard are all a short drive away, making London Beach a comfortable, self-contained base for exploring the area without needing to leave the grounds for dinner or a swim.

We stayed for a 1 night spa break - What an experience! I had read some mixed reviewed before we went so I was a little bit apprehensive. Staff - The lady on reception was really welcoming and informative. Gave us tips to keep the room cool. Restaurant staff were really friendly and welcoming. One young lad was only on his 2nd day but you couldn't tell! He was great! Food does take a little while to come out but we booked in for 6pm and I think thats the best time to go. Spa - The spa was very clean and the pool was warm. Our only downside was when we initially checked in, there was noone at reception (and we didnt see the check in sign) but a lady who was cleaning the area let us in. We then walked through, not knowing we had to go through the changing rooms, and the main reception lady asked us if we had checked us in - we said no- she took us back out to reception and then dressed down the cleaning lady for letting us in. It made us feel like awkward, as if we had also been told off. We went through and got into the pool but I still felt uneasy for a while after this. It took me a while to relax. Needs hooks or something out in the main pool as there were a lot of robes, flip flops and even full size gym bags around the pool and by the fire exit - not exactly safe yet there was plenty of lockers available. Overall the food was great, really tasty and well priced. I think the overall venue just needs some TLC and upgrading in places. The doors for example as everyone has to slam them so they will shut which woke us up in the morning and kept us up at night.

Stayed here for my Goddaugters 30th. Staff were very friendly & helpful. Very clean throughout. We had a triple room had everything you needed. Spa was lovely. We were fortunate enough to watch the sunset while having dinner. Food was amazing. Would definitely recommend

I use as a spa and it is just perfect for the number of users. Huge and warm (39 degrees) jacuzzi area. Compact pool, steam and sauna. Just right for the number of users. Gym is good.
