Gambledown Farm - Cuckoo - Safari Tent

Step into Gambledown Farm's safari tent and you're met with an open-plan living space that doubles as kitchen and sitting room, centred on a wood-burning stove. Two proper bedrooms—one with a king bed, one with singles—plus a shower room with hot water are all on the ground floor, alongside a futon sofa that can sleep two. The tent holds six people in total, though the layout means children often end up sharing the compact sleeping nooks. Electricity, bed linen and towels come with your stay; the kitchen has a gas hob, running water and basic equipment for cooking. A cot and highchair are available if you ask ahead.

Outside is an enclosed terrace with space to sit and a barbecue. You get parking for two cars on site. The property sits on a working farm in the Test Valley with countryside walks from the door; farm animals are part of the landscape. The access track is rough and the setting genuinely rural. One dog is welcome. The tent is non-smoking. Sauna and ice bath facilities exist elsewhere on the farm if you arrange them in advance and pay extra.
