Booked here, initially for work, but that got cancelled! Decided to have a night away with my wife and the dogs. Adding the dogs to the booking was easy. The room was on the ground floor and was comfortable although it needs some fairly minor refurbishment. It had everything we needed, just looked a bit tired. Comfortable bed!!! Breakfast was good, worth the money...just! Really polite and helpful staff. Overall a nice overnight stay, I will stay again if my work down this way goes ahead.

Lovely to find a hotel that is dog friendly. It was so nice that after a long day out, a member of staff brought a nice fresh bowl of iced water for Aslan (our whippet). The staff were very friendly and obliging, and overall I would say that the hotel is very good value for money. The breakfast menu is great, and helped give us a good start to the day, exploring the beautiful Devonshire countryside, villages and coastlines. We also had the privilege of meeting and chatting with other guests, who we got along very well with. Have stayed at this hotel several times and used a black friday deal for a 3 night stay in January. Must have been the bargain of the year. Lovely large bedroom cleaned and serviced daily. Great buffet breakfast included in price and staff were excellent and helpful.. Can't praise this hotel enough as it is great value for money and will be back soon! Well done everyone!

Recently refurbished bare and restaurant area, very pleasant. Rooms clean and functional. Prices reasonable, good breakfast. All staff very pleasant and helpful.
