Captains Rest

Captains Rest sits on the first floor of a building steps from Brixham Harbour. The property sleeps four across a king bedroom, a twin room, and a shower room. There is a combined living and dining space with doors opening onto a Juliet balcony that overlooks the rooftops of the town, and a kitchen equipped for proper cooking—electric oven, gas hob, microwave and a washer-dryer. Wifi, electricity, bed linen and towels are included in your stay.

Brixham itself is a working fishing port with a genuine character—the harbour is lined with independent shops, cafés and restaurants rather than chain outlets. The beaches and coves along this stretch of coast are within easy reach on foot or a short drive, and the seawater lido is open in summer. For inland exploration, Dartmoor National Park lies about half an hour away by car, and the naval town of Dartmouth is a short drive plus ferry crossing to the south. The property is for non-smokers.
