🏡 Self-Catering Cottage 🐾 Pets Welcome

Cockington

Photo: Jay

Cockington sits within the grounds of a converted Victorian villa on Torquay's seafront, metres from Royal Terrace Gardens—the clifftop park that runs along Rock Walk. The restored gardens command panoramic views across Torbay towards Paignton and Brixham, with Dartmoor visible on clear days. Below, the harbour bustles with activity year-round, and the promenade hosts everything from the Red Arrows display to fireworks and sailing events.

The property is entirely on the ground floor. A living room with two sofa beds (sleeping flexibility), separate dining room, and a double bedroom provide space for four. The kitchen has an electric oven and hob for proper cooking; the bathroom combines a bath with shower. Essentials like heating, bed linen, towels and wi-fi are included. A private garden and terrace give direct outdoor space, though the gardens are shared with other properties on site. Parking is on road. The cottage does not permit smoking.

This works best for those wanting beach and clifftop walks without the need to venture far, or families combining seaside time with visits to Torquay's attractions. A cot and highchair can be provided.
