Protea Cottage

Torquay's seafront lies a ten-minute walk from this Victorian cottage, which sits in the grounds of Protea House. The town draws visitors for Living Coasts, Torre Abbey, the Princess Theatre and other attractions; Kents Cavern and Babbacombe Model Village are further out. Protea Cottage itself is a self-contained base for exploring the area.

The ground floor contains a living and dining room with television, books and games, plus a kitchen equipped for cooking proper meals. One bedroom here has two single beds and an ensuite with a corner bath and shower. Upstairs, a double bedroom has an ensuite with bath and shower. Heating, electricity, bed linen and towels are included. The cottage has parking for one car on site and a garden with patio furniture, though this is shared with other properties within Protea House's grounds. No smoking inside.
