Warm, authentic hospitality like I haven't experienced in quite some time. Attention to detail in amenities and quality of those in the room, topped up daily. Genuine and attentive host/essing. Quality of the breakfast is truly exceptional and delicious with seamless service. The facilities, the pool in particular and deck/lounge area a very high standard which elevates to that boutique feel I was looking for, compared to other local accommodation. The setting, gardens/grounds and house bolster that aesthetic/vibe. Importantly you feel very welcomed by the owners which is consistent throughout the stay. We are coming back!

Best B&B experience in a long time. Hosts were absolutely sublime. Lisa with her friendly, warm and cozy service and Chris with his 10/10 breakky! Room was clean, relaxing and spacious - nice ensuite too. Would recommend the family room if you have any little ones as there was more than enough space to set up our baby's cot in the annex room adjacent (and room to dump her mountain of stuff too). Location was fab - very close to all the main places to see but nicely tucked away so quiet during the night. Thank you both for such a great stay :) Jack, Mill and Aubrey xx Ps. We WILL be back

We have just returned from a wonderful stay at The Charterhouse. Our room was very comfortable, well-equipped and spotlessly clean. The garden is beautiful and there is ample parking. We also enjoyed befriending the cat! The most outstanding feature of our stay was the hospitality of Lisa and Christophe. Lisa made us feel so at home the whole time. Nothing was too much trouble and we thoroughly enjoyed chatting with her over breakfast. Christophe prepared the most delicious vegan breakfasts for us each morning. I’m still thinking about his wild mushrooms on toast! Thank you so much for catering for our dietary requirements. Lisa also kept us topped up with oat milk and Nakd bars in our room. We loved our stay and can’t wait to return!

Super hosts, we stayed in the principle bedroom and the place was spotlessly clean, very comfortable and conveniently located. Breakfast was delicious, thank you for looking after us so well. 10/10 - Excellent
