I enjoyed my stay at Ashwood Grange and would highly recommend it. I received a lovely welcome from Clare who directed me to my spacious double room. I stayed during the July 2026 heatwave and was pleased to be given a room that didn't catch the afternoon sun. The room was nicely furnished with a comfortable double bed. I need not of worried about the heat as the whole house remained cool thanks partly to it's high ceilings. The dining room and guest lounge was light and airy with views over the lovely garden. The breakfasts were delicious and really set me up for the day. There is off street parking at the hotel but also parking on the opposite side of the road should the car park be full.

Fantastic value for money. Nice clean rooms. Nice bed, Fantastic nights sleep. Fantastic breakfast. Lovely owners nothing was to much trouble. 15mins ish walk into town etc. Really enjoyed the stay. The only negative I wish I booked longer! I'll definitely be coming back. Thank you for having us.

I stayed for 4 nights whilst doing a course in the area. Clare and Stuart are wonderful hosts. Nothing was too much trouble. My room was spotlessly clean and very cosy with everything I needed. There was a choice of breakfast options from cereals to full English. And delicious. Amazing value for money. Cannot recommend highly enough.
