About Belgrave Sands Hotel & Spa

Belgrave Sands Hotel & Spa serves up a varied restaurant menu with plenty of choice, backed by a bar for evening drinks and a snack bar for something lighter. Breakfast comes with fresh milk left in the room fridge, and packed lunches or room service are available for those who want flexibility, while kids' meals make it a straightforward choice for families.

Rooms are en-suite with complimentary amenities included, and family and accessible options are available alongside a bridal suite for those marking an occasion. Beyond the restaurant, the hotel's spa and indoor pool are a particular draw, backed by a gym fitted with Technogym equipment and a sauna for winding down. A lift, concierge service, meeting rooms and free on-site parking round out the practical side of things.

Staff are helpful and the setting near Torquay's seafront puts a bus stop and the coast within easy reach, with walking routes, watersports, golf and fishing all nearby, plus pubs and restaurants dotted around for evenings out. It works equally well as a spa break or a base for exploring the wider area.

Took my Mum yesterday Saturday 15th March for lunch as a treat before the ballet. We have always been regular customers in the past as we have so enjoyed our lunches. Yesterday sadly was very disappointing. I ordered a Prawn and avocado sandwich on granary bread. When it arrived it looked unappetising. The bread wasn't granary it was tasteless and worst of all the avocado was brown mush and looked very unappealing. Certainly not the vibrant green it should be. I sent it back and ordered the salmon sandwich like my Mum, which we both did not enjoy. Attention to detail should always be top priority when serving food to a paying customer. Serving brown mushed avocado is not acceptable especially for the price of the sandwich. Our experience yesterday was sadly our last and we shall not be returning again for any lunches.

Its not the cheapest hotel in Torquay , but it boasts it own indoor pool , steam room ,sauna and other skin treatments. Not forgetting the gym. The food is spot on and full english is included. Worth the money .

My wife and I stayed here for a night and were pleasantly surprised by this hotel. It was exceptionally clean, and the staff were very helpful throughout our stay. A special mention to the waiter, who was incredibly friendly and welcoming. The food was outstanding—especially the steak, which was cooked to absolute perfection. We would definitely recommend this hotel!
