Friendly and helpful staff staff who changed our room voluntarily for one with less steps when they saw that one of needed a stick to walk. Unfortunately the outdoor pool is currently out of action and the garden a little overgrown. Having said that the lawn had been moved and a few loungers available to relax in the shade. Breakfast was well organised with a buffet for cereals fruit crossoints and the usual bacon eggs mushrooms beans etc.

I had a fantastic stay at Abbey Sands. Parking was just outside the door. Warmly welcomed by two friendly gentlemen who were so helpful. A massive room with a separate area for our children. The room was modern and light and plenty of new furniture for storage!! The bed was soooo comfortable and it was a super king. Quality linen and a mix of feather and polyester pillows which were lovely. Huge bathroom which was newly renovated and a shower and bath. Lovely shower products too. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful and served in a large bright room. All staff were really friendly. The location is a 2 minute drive from the theatre. 10/10 from me, cannot wait to come back!

We had a fantastic stay at Abbey Sands. My wife and two children took my mum away to celebrate her birthday and we were greeted by friendly, attentive staff from the moment we arrived. Our room was spacious, comfortable and decorated to a high, modern standard. Most importantly, the bed was very comfortable and we had no problem sleeping (which is always a plus because many places we’ve stayed have been really complacent when it comes to providing beds that aren’t cheap or knackered). Breakfast was also great, with a wide range of buffet options, including full English - the food was well cooked, sourced from decent ingredients and delicious. Well done to all - the hard work is appreciated and we will will book with you when we are in Torquay again. Thank you.

Last minute booking, 2 of us and our dog. Staff were fantastic especially the man at desk and Scottish lady (sorry didnt get names) The beds were so so comfy I slept so well!! Pool area nice and clean. Only bad point is the bathroom vent was VERY dirty and thick with dust. Overall room clean and tidy.
