Housed in a Victorian building on Cleveland Road, the B&B keeps things simple and personal, with a small garden and outdoor seating for relaxing between outings.

This was one of the nicest guest houses we've ever stayed in, quiet, beautiful room, (Gerbera), incredibly comfy bed, all things needed and little touches like fresh milk in a little fridge! The deep bath was an added luxury and much appreciated after a long walk. There are lots of bus stops and Torre station is very close which makes it ideal for getting around Torbay. Lynn and her partner were kind and welcoming and facilitated an early check in for us, they could not have been more pleasant and really made us feel at home. The breakfast was fresh with lots of options! If we need to stay in the area again we will certainly come back. The value for money is incredible and we couldn't have wished for a better place to stay, we only wished we had a little more time there!

Such a great stay at Carlton Court. A lovely friendly welcome from Lynn & Paul. The rooms were great, lovely attention to detail and nice finishing touches to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Breakfast was so good would definitely recommend adding this onto your stay. We are looking forward to coming back to Torquay and staying again :-)

Our stay at Carlton Court was wonderful! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with open arms by Lynn and Paul. The room was beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean, and equipped with everything you could need for a comfortable stay – they even thought of makeup remover towels. Each morning, breakfast was a gourmet experience. The breakfast area itself was elegant and cozy, fitted with an honesty bar made by Paul. The cooked breakfast was made by order, using fresh and local ingredients. It was hands down the best breakfast we had during our road trip through the South of England. The location of Carlton Court is perfect for exploring Torquay and the surrounding areas. It's within a 15-minute walking distance to the town centre and seaside, yet tucked away in a peaceful setting, providing a serene escape from the hustle and bustle. And it had a private parking, which is a big plus in a city. Lynn and Paul were very attentive and made us feel right at home. They offered us recommendations (and directions) for local attractions and dining options, which made our visit even more enjoyable. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable and relaxing getaway. Thank you, Lynn and Paul, for an unforgettable stay!

This charming B&B was just perfect for our recent stay in Torquay. Lynn (and Paul) were consummate hosts, friendly, accomodating and helpful. The breakfasts were wonderful, the building is super clean and comfortable. Our room (a small suite, really) was well-appointed and fresh. I would highly recommend this place for a stay of any length. It is on a quiet street, but just a few minutes on foot from all the sights, seafront, Torre Abbey, and the rest.
