Our hosts were warm, friendly, and incredibly helpful throughout our visit, ensuring we felt welcome from the moment we arrived. The room was well equipped with thoughtful touches, including a fan, a fridge, and very handy USB charging sockets. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, providing a great night’s sleep. One of the highlights was breakfast in the beautiful garden room, which offered lovely views and a relaxing atmosphere. More importantly, the locally sourced produce was cooked to perfection and was absolutely delicious. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be returning in the future. P.s. I think I found the name of the beautiful shrub in your garden.

Great stay once again. Lissanne and Matt are very accommodating. Breakfast is excellent, and if you want an evening meal this can also be offered. About 20 minutes from Torquay sea front, and about the same from Torre railway station. Once again well done.

Another fantastic stay. Why do we love returning to The Cleveland? Warm welcome, spotlessly clean, beautifully comfortable, well equipped and maintained, quality bedding, furniture and furnishings, relaxing environment, and last but not least... wonderful food and hospitality. Breakfast ingredients are top class and delicious. Looking forward to our next visit.

We have just spent three nights at the Cleveland Bed & Breakfast to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The booking process was straightforward and the communication before arrival was helpful. On arrival we received a friendly welcome from Matt and Lissanne, who gave us plenty of local information, including directions to a restaurant, the town centre and the promenade. Our room was spacious and comfortable, with thoughtful touches such as body wash, biscuits and bottles of water. The bed was very comfortable and the stay was quiet, allowing us to sleep well. Breakfast was freshly prepared, hot and tasty. We also appreciated the free on‑site parking and the short 15‑minute walk to town or the promenade. Both Lissanne and Matt were attentive hosts, and we enjoyed a relaxing visit. Thank you again; we will definitely return. Matt & Asha
