May Cottage is a converted stable near Clifford Farm Cottages in north Devon, sleeping four across two bedrooms. Everything you need for self-catering is provided: the kitchen has an electric oven and hob, microwave, and American-style fridge freezer; bed linen and towels are already in place; heating, electricity and wifi are included. There's parking for two cars on site and a private patio with garden furniture.
Downstairs is one open-plan living area with a sofa, wingback chair and electric stove, plus a wooden dining table. Upstairs, one bedroom has a double bed; the other contains two single beds that can be joined together into a super-king. A shower room with cubicle shower serves both. One dog stays free. The cottage is non-smoking. Check-in is after 4pm and checkout before 10am.
The surrounding countryside is quiet and rural, though the Farmers Arms is just over a mile away. The location sits within reach of Hartland's Devon Heritage Coast, with its dramatic clifftop walks.
