Netherton Farm – Hawthorn is a single-storey property where you step straight into a kitchen-diner equipped for proper cooking: electric cooker, dishwasher, fridge-freezer and microwave all standard. Four steps lead down to the bedroom, a double with its own ensuite bathroom complete with bath and shower. Upstairs, the living room opens onto a Juliet balcony through French doors, and has a television, DVD player and music system. Heating, electricity, Wi-Fi and all bed linen and towels are included.
The cottage sits on a working farm three miles inland from the coast, in the Hartland Peninsula area of North Devon. Pets stay free – there's an outdoor washing point for sandy paws, two fields for exercising dogs, and a welcome pack includes doggy extras. You have an enclosed patio with garden furniture, bike storage and private parking for two cars. The village of Hartland is nearby with a post office, cafés, shops and three pubs serving food, many welcoming dogs. Hartland Quay, Hartland Abbey and Hartland Point lighthouse are all within reach, and footpaths lead to the English Heritage coastline within a mile. The area holds Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty and Sites of Special Scientific Interest; beaches and coves dot the shoreline, and surfers will find plenty of sand at Bude and Westward Ho! Smoking is not permitted. Children under 18 are not accommodated, except infants under 12 months.

Hawthorn cottage - cute cottage and well equipped with a fabulous welcome basket for us and our dog. Mary, Graham & their wonderful dog greeted us warmly and made us feel more than welcome. A beautiful setting on a very quiet road you could happily walk your dog in the evening. Plenty of walks not far away over the coastal path, Bude 14 miles and Bideford 14 miles if you want beaches. Your folder of information was a god send. A perfect tranquil setting to unwind, read and rest. Thank you both for a lovely week Ceri, Alan & Albie

Had a wonderful holiday staying at Tamarisk. The hosts are very welcoming and the welcome pack is excellent with fresh milk, fresh eggs from the farm bread and other goodies which i wont spoil for you. Even the dogs had a welcome pack which was great. The accommodation is first class and spotless. The secure field for the dogs to run was a god send as well. The pubs in the Harland village are great for food in particular the Kings Arms. Try the gammon and fish and chips! Everywhere in North Devon and Cornwall was dog friendly. Overall a great week and cant fault Netherton farm and would highly recommend.

We had a perfect time staying in Bramble at Netherton. Graham and Mary were very accommodating and very welcoming. The cottage is perfect, with the most warm feel and relaxing layout that makes you feel right at home. Waking up to the sprawling view is just what we needed! Perfectly situated near some outstanding areas of true beauty - most of which are pointed out in the very comprehensive folder provided in the cottage! Thank you Graham and Mary. We can’t wait for a return visit!!
