Nuthatch Barn is a single-storey converted barn on the Little Derril complex near Holsworthy, sleeping two in a king bed. Everything needed for self-catering is here: the kitchen has an electric oven, hob, air fryer, microwave, slow cooker and dishwasher, while the living space includes a woodburner, Freeview TV and DVD player. Heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and fast fibre wi-fi come as standard. An enclosed garden with seating and a barbecue opens off the living area, and there is parking for one car on site.
The property sits within 10 acres of shared woodland grounds, giving space to roam beyond the immediate garden. Holsworthy's market town centre—with shops, a butcher, grocers and pharmacy—is two and a half miles away. The North Cornish coastline near Bude, known for dog-friendly beaches and coastal walks, is within reach for day trips. One pet stays free, and the owners have fields available for guests to use. Note that there are three steps to the entrance and three more down into the garden. Smoking is not permitted inside.

Just had an amazing stay at Little Derril. Accommodation excellent. Dog friendly. Owners Francoise and John very welcoming. Nothing is too much trouble. Excellent beaches very near by. Our dogs loved Black Rock Beach, they were actually smiling running from tidal pool to tidal pool. Excellent base for travel to other main attractions. Tintagel, Boscastle, so many more. Highly recommend a stay here. Lovely grounds so not too far to walk your dogs. We most certainly will be rebooking in the very near future.

We had a fantastic one week stay at Nuthatch Barn. The cottage has wifi, television, dvds and some books for quiet evenings or if the British weather should have other ideas on your excursion plans. There is a totally enclosed back garden, which was great for the dogs. There is a paddock and field for nice dog walks.The kitchen has everything you need. Hosts are very welcoming and friendly. Good location for driving out to many Cornwall and Devon attractions such as Port Isaac, Clovelly, Bude and Boscastle. Would definitely rebook if we come back to the area.

Went last year with our dog. Loved Nuthatch and local shops. Close drive to beach. Took our dog. Lovely little enclosed garden to relax and have wine. Local pub not dog friendly.
