Sandpipers
Torridge
Sandpipers is an inverted cottage adjoining the owner's farmhouse in rural Devon, where the living spaces occupy the first floor and bedrooms the ground. The layout is practical: downstairs holds a double bedroom and a twin bunk room with a shower room between them; upstairs, an open-plan kitchen and dining area flow into a sitting room with TV, DVD player and leather sofas. Essentials like bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are included, and the kitchen is equipped for self-catering with an oven, hob, fridge, freezer and dishwasher.
Outside, a small enclosed garden with seating and barbecue offers a private retreat, while the surrounding 10-acre grounds include woodland shared with other properties on the site. One dog stays free. Parking is on-site immediately outside. The village of Pyworthy, home to a pub and restaurant, lies half a mile away, and Holsworthy—a market town with shops, supermarket, golf club and leisure centre—is two and a half miles distant. Bude, with its castle, seafront and dining options, takes fifteen minutes by car. The property does not permit smoking.
