The Torridge area has walking routes, and coastal towns are close enough for a day trip. The house itself is built for groups: seven bedrooms across two floors, six bathrooms, and communal spaces that let a dozen people spread out or gather together. Ground-floor rooms include two living areas (one with access to the patio), a dining room, and a kitchen equipped for cooking rather than heating takeaways—there's an Aga alongside modern appliances, a dishwasher, and breakfast space.

Bedrooms range from kingsize to twin singles, most with their own ensuite bathroom. The house sits on an acre of lawned garden, with a private outdoor swimming pool, tennis court, patio and terrace, plus a children's play area. Parking fits six cars. Wifi, heating, electricity, bed linen and towels are included. The property does not allow smoking.
