Rose Cottage comes ready to use. Electricity, heating, bed linen, towels and wifi are all included, along with a welcome pack. The kitchen has an electric oven, gas hob and microwave, so you can cook proper meals rather than relying on takeaways. A washer-dryer handles laundry. There's parking for two cars on site and a bike store if you want to explore further afield.

The cottage sits on the ground floor as one open-plan space: living area with Freeview TV and DVDs, dining area, and kitchen flowing into each other. The bedroom holds a double bed (4ft 6in), and the ensuite has a walk-in shower. A lawned garden with sitting-out area and furniture offers a quiet spot outside. No smoking inside.

You're 4 miles from the South West Coastal Path and close to dog-friendly beaches and coves. Hartland village, with three pubs and shops, is 1½ miles away. The Hartland Peninsula is designated as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty; the rugged coastline stretches in both directions with long sandy beaches and sheltered inlets. Clovelly and its cobbled streets lie nearby, as do the surfing beaches of Westward Ho! and Bude. One pet is welcome.
