An Aga in the kitchen and a woodburner in the living room are the heart of this converted barn on a smallholding near Hartland. Two bedrooms sit on different floors—one with a double bed downstairs and one upstairs with a double plus a single in the landing area—each with its own bathroom. The ground floor opens onto a conservatory with countryside views, leading to a patio and front garden.
The kitchen is equipped for proper cooking, with a dishwasher, microwave and fridge-freezer alongside the Aga. Heating comes via an air source heat pump with underfloor heating downstairs and radiators upstairs. Wi-Fi, electricity and bed linen are included. One dog stays free. The property is accessed via a quiet private lane on the smallholding, with parking for four cars. No smoking throughout.
Walkers will find the Hartland coast path nearby, and a small woodland on the property suits short explorations. The setting works well for families, couples or anyone after a retreat with proper rural peace—though note there are poultry kept on the smallholding.
