The Loft

The Loft is a detached apartment sleeping four, set in Shebbear in rural north Devon. Everything you need is included: electricity, Wi-Fi, bed linen and towels, plus heating to keep you comfortable in cooler months. The property is self-contained with its own entrance and parking for two cars on site.

All the living space is on one floor. There are two bedrooms—one with a double bed, the other with zip-and-link single beds—and a shower room. The kitchen has an electric cooker, hob and microwave, so you can prepare your own meals. The living room has a Freeview Smart TV. A shared front garden with barbecue looks out over the surrounding landscape, with views towards Dartmoor and grazing horses in the fields beyond. No smoking is permitted inside the property.

Shebbear village is within easy reach of Dartmoor National Park, making it a natural base for walking or cycling. Hatherleigh, a market town with local shops and cafés, is nearby. The North Devon coast—sandy beaches and coastal paths—is a short drive away. This corner of Devon works well for anyone wanting countryside quiet with straightforward access to both moorland and seaside.
