The Appleloft is a two-bedroom cottage on the Webbery Manor Estate near Bideford, sleeping four guests in a king bed and two singles. The property comes with essentials covered—bed linen, towels, wi-fi, heating and electricity—plus logs for the woodburner and a welcome pack on arrival. The kitchen is fitted for proper cooking, with a gas hob, electric range, microwave, washing machine and tumble dryer. Downstairs there is a living and dining room with a woodburner and television; upstairs, the two bedrooms and bathroom with bath and shower. A travel cot and highchair are available if needed.
Outside, the cottage has its own patio with garden furniture, opening onto the wider grounds of the 45-acre estate. You have shared use of a tennis court and barbecue area, plus access to the parkland and gardens. The estate itself is set high in the Devon hills above the Taw and Torridge estuaries, with woodland, specimen trees and banks of rhododendrons, along with regular sightings of deer, owls and birds of prey. The working harbour at Appledore and the market town of Bideford are nearby for supplies and meals. No smoking inside the cottage. One pet is welcome.

We hired the Garden cottage which looked out into one of their walked gardens, which we were able to pick vegetables and some fruit for our dinners during our stay. The estate is beautiful and they have a number of cottages to rent. The location is very tranquil, but close to visit Bideford, Westward Ho! , Appledore etc. The owners were lovely and very helpful. I can't recommend there estate enough

Stunning accommodation in the heart of the beautiful North Devon countryside. There is a small collection of rental properties ranging from 2 bedrooms to 8 bedrooms, each is beautifully presented and situated in the grounds of the estate. You can bring your dog by prior arrangement. Our accommodation was a 2 bedroom apartment featuring 2 bathrooms a longe dining room, baby grand piano and a fantastically well equipped kitchen. The accommodation is spacious and beautifully decorated and is sympathetic to its heritage. There are 2 amazing kitchen gardens and guests are allowed to help themselves to produce. There is a full sized tennis court that is also free for guests to use. The accommodation is ideally situated for exploring the coastal paths and beaches of North Devon. We felt it offered fantastic value for money and would highly recommend to anyone looking for a family friendly accommodation in the countryside.

Spent a lovely week here commencing Sat 9th April this being my fourth stay at Webbery so that speaks volumes. The cottages are delightful as are the owners (Katy and Kevin)who couldn’t do enough for us not to mention our own vegetable supermarket!!! (Walled gardens stocked with an abundance of seasonal veg). This is the perfect holiday retreat and comes highly recommended.

Excellent self catering holiday cottages set in idyllic Devon countryside close to coastline. High spec cottages with extensive grounds, tennis court, walled gardens and patios. High standard of cleanliness and presentation. 15 minutes from Westward Ho! beach. Tesco store 10 minutes away. Friendly and helpful owners on site. Ideal base for exploring North Devon and area.
