The Linhay sits within Webbery Manor Estate, a 45-acre expanse of parkland and woodland in the Devon hills above the Taw and Torridge estuaries. Ground-floor living means everything is accessible: a combined sitting and kitchen area with a woodburner, plus two bedrooms each with its own bathroom. The first bedroom has a king bed; the second has two singles. Between them, the cottage accommodates four people and comes with parking on site.
The kitchen is properly equipped for cooking—electric oven, gas hob and range, fridge-freezer, washing machine and tumble dryer. Wifi and heating are included, as are bed linen and towels. A terrace overlooks the river, and there is a garden space with a barbecue. One dog is welcome. The estate shares access to a tennis court and use of the 45 acres themselves, where you may spot deer, various owls, pheasants and birds of prey. Seasonal vegetables and fruit from the estate's kitchen gardens are available to guests.
Bideford and Appledore are nearby market towns with working harbours and pubs. No smoking in the cottage.

We hired the Garden cottage which looked out into one of their walked gardens, which we were able to pick vegetables and some fruit for our dinners during our stay. The estate is beautiful and they have a number of cottages to rent. The location is very tranquil, but close to visit Bideford, Westward Ho! , Appledore etc. The owners were lovely and very helpful. I can't recommend there estate enough

Stunning accommodation in the heart of the beautiful North Devon countryside. There is a small collection of rental properties ranging from 2 bedrooms to 8 bedrooms, each is beautifully presented and situated in the grounds of the estate. You can bring your dog by prior arrangement. Our accommodation was a 2 bedroom apartment featuring 2 bathrooms a longe dining room, baby grand piano and a fantastically well equipped kitchen. The accommodation is spacious and beautifully decorated and is sympathetic to its heritage. There are 2 amazing kitchen gardens and guests are allowed to help themselves to produce. There is a full sized tennis court that is also free for guests to use. The accommodation is ideally situated for exploring the coastal paths and beaches of North Devon. We felt it offered fantastic value for money and would highly recommend to anyone looking for a family friendly accommodation in the countryside.

Spent a lovely week here commencing Sat 9th April this being my fourth stay at Webbery so that speaks volumes. The cottages are delightful as are the owners (Katy and Kevin)who couldn’t do enough for us not to mention our own vegetable supermarket!!! (Walled gardens stocked with an abundance of seasonal veg). This is the perfect holiday retreat and comes highly recommended.

Excellent self catering holiday cottages set in idyllic Devon countryside close to coastline. High spec cottages with extensive grounds, tennis court, walled gardens and patios. High standard of cleanliness and presentation. 15 minutes from Westward Ho! beach. Tesco store 10 minutes away. Friendly and helpful owners on site. Ideal base for exploring North Devon and area.
