Tucked into the grounds of a working mixed farm near Trowbridge, Yellowtail Camping offers a peaceful Wiltshire base with genuine countryside character. The site strikes a nice balance between rural seclusion and accessibility – you're close enough to explore Georgian Bath, Stonehenge, and handsome market towns like Bradford-on-Avon and Frome, yet the on-site nature pond and surrounding farmland give it a properly tranquil feel. Facilities cover the essentials well: clean showers and toilets, chemical disposal, a designated barbecue area, and campfires are welcomed. Clean site. Only 2 shower & toilets units and 2 other toilets Showers had inconsistent temperatures, I wouldn't a child in there whilst cleaning your teeth or using the loo, as the water can go from freezing to boiling hot in quick succession and back again. No hot water for washing up at the 2 sinks. Very clean, just not enough facilities for a site that could hold 50 to 80 pitches.

Amazing camp site! Very clean all around, staff were polite and helpful, facilities were spotless, we even had the chance to have a live band at night!! What else could you possibly want? Will definitely come back!

Beautifully peaceful, friendly campsite. Stayed for August bank holiday weekend. Met up with family members + a dog, and had a wonderful relaxing weekend. Look forward to returning. Good location. Westbury white horse and Salisbury plain within easy drive. Nearby walk along Kennet & Avon canal. Campsite manager and owners all very friendly. Secure site with code needed for gated entrance/exit. Large flat area for pitching tents/parking with roof tents. Plenty of drinking water pipes on field. Toilets and showers were spotlessly clean at whatever time of day we used them. Amazing sunsets, and a bonus for me, there were cows on the farm.

Beautiful place, spotless clean, large pitches, all pitches have water and electric. Lovely walks around for dogs. Definitely come back.
