About Southview Farm Meadow
Set on a working family farm just outside Bradford-upon-Avon, Southview Farm Meadow is a pop-up site where pitches are mown into an open field. It's decidedly off-grid, though a mobile toilet and gas shower provide basic comforts, with portable loos added in peak season. Firepits are available for hire when conditions allow.
The real charm lies in the farmyard hospitality: buy goats' milk, cheese, elderflower cordial and cider direct from the owners, or join the daily 6.30am and 6.30pm milking sessions. Rabbits, runner ducks and free-range chickens potter about, while buzzards, red kites and kestrels patrol overhead. A grass recreation area keeps children occupied, and the Kennet and Avon Canal—10 minutes' walk—beckons paddleboarders and canoeists.
Bradford's supermarkets, pubs and restaurants are a short canal-path stroll or five-minute bus ride away; Bath is 20 minutes by bus. The site can feel a little spartan if you're after facilities, but for those seeking simple, wildlife-rich camping with a warm farm welcome, it hits the mark.

Me and my partner stayed here for 1 night while on our campervan road trip, and we are beyond happy with our stay! This campsite is only a 25 minute drive from Bath with a bus stop a 2 minute walk out of the drive way which are very frequent, walking distance to Bradford on Avon, lovely restaurants pubs shops. Everything you need! The owners Olly & Becky are super welcoming and so friendly making us feel at ease. A well equipped washing up area, shower, toilets & FARM AMIMALS you can go in and see, milk a goat & they also have lots of home grown apple cider to try. We will definitely be back if we come this side of the UK again. Thank you! 🫶🏼
