What visitors say
I really enjoyed my stay here. It's set in an incredibly beautiful location (though be prepared for some hairy roads if you aren't used to driving in Devon!). The bed was super comfortable and I loved being beside the stream. The toilets and showers were perfectly functional. One tip: don't leave anything in the shower block as someone stole my (very nice organic cotton) towel. Other than that, I adored this place and would come back.

for the price, cant complain too much. nice location, good facilities, showers were hot, and sinks for washing up were kept clean. it advertises no groups of more than 4 people but this is not the case, nor is having to be quiet at 10pm. the tent pitches at the higher point were almost impossible to get pegs into the ground even with a hammer, rocks EVERYWHERE. the log storage was empty on arrival but was restocked when requested, BRING YOUR OWN KINDLING, how they expect you to light massive logs without any kindling is just amusing. overall nice place but some things definitely need improving.

We only stayed for 1 night in our own tent so can't comment on the actual huts but the pitches are a great size and the site has everything you would need for a break away including charging lockers and a washing machine. Only slight downside was the rubbish containers were over flowing as we left. Will definitely be back again as its nice and peaceful and great little site amongst the trees.

Absolutely beautiful place, the hut was well planned out, had everything we needed, beds very comfy & the log burner was a great touch. My son has been having a tough time recently so we took a one night step out of everything for a little reset, can't complain about anything it was all perfect. Looking forward to more stays here 😁
