A great place. Brilliant value and ideally located in the town. I stayed just before Christmas and used it as a base for a bit of hillwalking and photography. The owner is a local and was able to advise on locations etc. so really helpful and friendly. Breakfast was great. Note that they don’t do evening meals but there’s other options a few minutes walk away.

We had the best stay at Charlie's beautiful guest house! Calmac cancelled our ferries and we had to scramble to book somewhere and we truly couldn't have stayed anywhere better in Ullapool. Charlie provided a true Scottish welcome and hospitality, with a lovely guesthouse, delicious breakfast and excellent recommendations on what to do and where to eat when we had nothing planned. Throughly recommend!
