Creek Manor
Vale of Glamorgan
View on Google MapsPhoto: Gileston Manor
The Vale of Glamorgan stretches along Wales's southern coast, a patchwork of rural lanes, heritage villages and clifftop walks. Creek Manor sits within a country estate here, housed in a converted stable block that now contains six cottages. This one is the largest: a three-bedroom, three-bathroom property sleeping six, with space to spread out across open-plan living areas and bedrooms that each have their own bathroom.
Stone walls and period features run through the interiors, combined with modern comforts—smart TVs, large baths, high-spec kitchen facilities. The grounds include gardens suitable for picnics and a sense of remove from everyday noise, yet beaches are within reach and the Wales Coastal Path starts on the doorstep. Wi-Fi, heating, bed linen and towels are included; there's an electric car charging point on site. One dog is welcome. Smoking is not permitted. Check-in is after 16:00 and departure before 10:00.
This works well for groups—family clusters, friends gathering for a few days—who want countryside quiet without isolation. Cowbridge, with its shops and restaurants, is nearby; coastal exploration and long walks are the main activities.

What guests say
Incredible hidden gem of a place. Staff are really attentive and helpful. Facilities are beautiful, the building is renovated with total respect to its history and balanced with very stylish interior design. The rooms are huge with a massive bath and the TVs are smart so you are not just stuck with freeview. We binge watched some TV shows. This is the perfect place for a calm and relaxing break. The grounds are like a scene from Narnia. I could not recommend this place and higher than saying get yourself booked in. It's absolute bliss. There are loads of cool birds around the site I.e. black swans and even white peacocks. We will 100% be back. Credit to the Owners and management Team. This oace is a very unique spot in this country. I have stayed many places but didn't realise we had such treasure in Wales.

We had the most perfect wedding day at Gileston Manor – everything was absolutely flawless from start to finish. The venue itself is stunning and made the most magical backdrop for our day. A special mention has to go to Sarah, our wedding coordinator, who was incredible. She took all the stress away, kept everything running so smoothly, and made sure we could just relax and enjoy every moment. We honestly couldn’t have wished for a more beautiful venue or a more seamless experience – it truly was everything we dreamed of and more.

From the moment we were shown around the venue to the day after the wedding, the staff went above and beyond to make our vision come to life! Sarah was our coordinator and she handled everything so professionally and efficiently. We couldn't have asked for a better venue or wedding experience. The whole day felt straight out of a fairytale! Worth every penny
