Meet Quarter

What a fantastic experience at Meat Quarter! From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel genuinely welcome — friendly, attentive, and full of good energy. We kicked things off with some amazing cocktails (seriously, don’t skip them!) before diving into the starters. The cheese soufflé was delightful and the beef tataki was beautifully presented and full of flavour — a great way to set the tone for the evening. For mains, we went with the Veal Milanese and the Chateaubriand. The Veal Milanese was classic and well-executed, but the real star of the night was the Chateaubriand. I usually order it medium, but on a whim I asked for well done — and I’ll be honest, I had my doubts when I placed the order. I was fully expecting it to come out dry and tough. But when it arrived, I was genuinely blown away. It was incredibly soft, still juicy, and packed with flavour. Absolutely not what I expected from a well done steak, and that is entirely down to the skill of the chef. Big bravo to the kitchen team and the whole front-of-house crew. You’ve made a loyal customer out of me. Highly recommend! 🙌

We had an amazing time at Meet Quarter. The service was impeccable, the food was so delicious! The tartare was the best tartare I’ve had since Lyon, and the Tomahawk steak is out of this world! Thank you so much, definitely coming back! 🙏

Superb food. From the Bread & Butter to the main courses, lamb and beef skewers, and the triple cooked chips & corn sides. 10/10 across the board. Great service, very friendly and efficient.

The staff were warm and hospitable. I was offered a taste of a few wines before choosing the Cab Sav. A little heavy on the tannins, but tasty. The burger itself was textbook. The patty was thick, and the ingredients perfectly proportioned. It was, however, almost too predictable; I would have been thrilled with a bit more punchy flavour. But if default flavour is what you’re after, this one delivers the goods. I’d definitely return, and would love to try the steak!
