Wagamama Wandsworth Southside

My wife and I enjoyed a good Wagamama meal at the Southside location for the first time. Food was fine (4.5/5), and the service provided by Shane was outstanding (5/5). He was proactive, attentive and very friendly. Thanks, Shane!

Very beautiful, elegant, and spacious venue.
The staff is absolutely kind and very competent.
The menu is entirely inspired by Japanese cuisine. Here are some of the delicious dishes you can enjoy: bao buns, curries, donburi, teppanyaki grill noodles, ramen, and pho.
Half of the menu is vegan. Perfect for family, meeting with a friend . Parking is not a problem ,just a few meters away there’s a Sainsbury’s where you can park for two hours. You can conveniently pay at the self-service machines, and if you do some shopping, the parking fee is refunded. There is an indoor restroom accessible also to people who use a wheelchair. A small suggestion for the staff: the music inside is a bit too loud and makes people at the table raise their voices. A lower volume and more relaxing music would be perfect. Highly recommended.

I came as part of a group of 11, and we had a fantastic time! We were celebrating the start of the summer holidays for our martial arts school, and it really felt like we’d chosen the perfect venue. When you’re booking for a large group, you never know whether you’ll all be able to sit together, but the team went out of their way to make it happen, which we really appreciated. Head Chef Keita and the rest of the team looked after us brilliantly. They were friendly, attentive, and made us feel very welcome throughout the evening. One member of our group has food allergies, and the staff handled this exceptionally well. They clearly explained what they could accommodate and where there were limitations, which made our friend feel safe, informed, and completely at ease. I had the Tantanmen Beef Ramen, while one of my good friends chose the new Chicken and Prawn Turmeric Rice Bowl. Both dishes were absolutely delicious—fresh, full of flavour, and beautifully presented. The broth in my ramen was rich yet clear, and the beef was tender and packed with flavour. We also shared the Buldak Wings, which were excellent. Everyone in our group thoroughly enjoyed their meal. The restaurant was clean, the atmosphere was lively and welcoming, and we loved the view overlooking the green space outside. It all made for a really enjoyable setting. Head Chef Keita can you check in with us at the end to make sure we had a great time. We appreciate that immensely. We’ll definitely be back. Thank you to Head Chef Keita and the entire Wandsworth team for making our celebration such a wonderful evening!

Popped into this Wagamama and was really impressed. The atmosphere felt relaxed and inviting, and the staff were genuinely lovely. My food came out fresh and tasted great. I like a bit more spice, so I asked for some hot sauce and they brought it over without hesitation. Really appreciated how helpful and friendly everyone was. Also they had a lunch deal, which was £12 for a main meal and drink. 😊
