It really quaint campsite that offers everything you need for a short stay. We arrived with 24 hours notice and they accommodated my whole family for a night to watch the Abingdon Fireworks, which were absolutely fantastic by the way. The campsite has clean bathrooms, toilets and a honesty kitchen that has loads of stuff. You can buy local made honey, to crisps. There is a card machine to pay. Theres a kitchenette as well to do the washing up. I paid £49 for 2 cars a campervan with 6 people. An absolute bargin for what it has to offer. Id suggest this campsite, Ill be going again in the future.

We were booked on this campsite by a friend via Pitch Up, so I am unable to feedback on their website which I would have preferred. Generally this is a lovely, small site that has 18 spaces. Unfortunately, there are only 2 toilets and 1 shower, which was ok as the campsite wasn’t busy!! Also, the toilets have no extractor fans or windows, which is rather unpleasant as we were asked to shut the doors at all times due to the automatic lighting. The shower had a small openable window but no extractor fan which caused sauna-like conditions so keeping clothes dry was a challenge. When we mentioned this problem to the owner, he was defensive, saying that he would check the regulations?? The road nearby is fairly noisy, so if sensitive you will need earplugs. Walking along felt dangerous. On the positive side, there was a fridge, a microwave, wash up room and separate vanity room with a sink and the campsite’s honesty shop had a good supply of goods, including a coffee machine and payments were easy as cash or cards were accepted. The amenities appeared quite new and very clean.
